Badbbán - she's around 17 here - utilising the ability she inherited from her father to physically enter the Shadowlands. Afterlife, Otherworld, Shadowlands, spiritual plane - call it what you will, it is the plane of existence where spirits go after their physical body dies.

Being half Death Elemental, Badbbán has the same ability as her father, which - in her mother's home world - is referred to as Shadowsliding. She literally shifts from the physical plane of the living to the Shadowlands. And it can be clearly seen - she doesn't just vanish. A 'door' opens, and a mist can be seen billowing beyond it - step through that doorway, and you're in the Shadowlands.

The appearance of living people who enter the Shadowlands doesn't change. Badbbán's father - who looks like death warmed up on the 'living' plane - appears as a skeleton in the Shadowlands. As Badbbán is only half Death Elemental, her appearance only half changes. Skeletal lower body and her eyes - which are normally dark blue - turn red. As for the outfit - that is always her outfit in the Shadowlands, regardless of what she's actually wearing when she shadowslides.

I'm glad I didn't decide to draw her father with her - skeletons take soooo goddamn long to draw! Still - that doesn't mean I don't want to draw Necros - I do. But I'm still glad I had the easier job of just the bones of the lower body in this pic
